About the Tour

Skye Tour is the most popular tour every year. Tickets are limited and sell out very fast.

Isle of Skye, a piece of heaven on earth, is A MUST-SEE island of Scotland and it was voted as the 4th best island in the world according to National Geographic. No student experience in Scotland is complete without a visit to Skye.

This truly fantastic 2 days tour will take you to a journey through the stunning Highlands of Scotland and the majestic and romantic Isle of Skye to enjoy the breathtaking natural beauty of Skye with velvet moors, jagged mountains, sparkling lochs, rivers, waterfalls and towering sea cliffs.

Day 1 includes visiting the most picturesque parts of the Scottish Highlands including the impressive and romantic Eilean Donan Castle, the 5 Sisters of Kintail, the 3 Sisters of Glencoe (a major location for many movies including Harry Potter and Skyfall), Fort William, Skye Bridge, Glen Garry, Great Glen, Loch Tulla and Loch Lomond. We will also explore some beautiful parts of Isle of Skye on Day 1 near our accommodation.

Day 2 includes a fantastic tour in Skye visiting the most iconic landmarks of the island such as a great hike in Old Man of Storr with incredible panoramic views (featured in Transformers 2, Prometheus, Harry Styles' song Sign of the Times and more...), lots of great walks in Lealt Gorge and Lealt Falls (featured in Kanye West album Life of Pablo), breathtaking views in Kilt Rock, Mealt Falls, stunning views at Cuillins (the most beautiful and the highest mountains in Skye), Sligachan Bridge, River Sligachan, Loch Mealt, Loch Fada, Loch Leathan and visiting the charming town of Portree (the Capital of Skye) and its picturesque coloured houses at the harbour, a chance to see the cute Highland Coos and much more.

Accommodation & Breakfast
Accommodation and breakfast are included in your ticket. We will stay overnight in a lovely standard hostel situated at the most beautiful location in Isle of Skye. We will have a chance to explore some beautiful places around the accommodation in Skye and go for some great walks. You can choose a room that suits you best including a female room, a male room or a mixed room with your friends if you prefer and based on the availability.

We will be back in Glasgow on Sunday at 20:00 approximately.

Interesting Facts
Old Man of Storr in Isle of Skye is one of the main landmarks and it has been a major location for movie directors and artist including Ridley Scott's 'Prometheus', Harry Styles' 'Sign of the Times' as well as Kanye West album 'Life of Pablo'. Eilean Donan Castle, as one of the highlights of this tour, appears several times in 'Made of Honour', 'Highlander' and 'James Bond' movies and 'Loch Ness'. Glencoe was also filmed in many movies including Harry Potter movies, Skyfall and Braveheart.

Smiles, a camera, warm clothes, personal toiletries (toothbrush, towel, shampoo, etc...), proper walking /hiking shoes and anything you think you may need during the tour.

Departure Point
Departure is at 07:45am sharp, from the Main Gate of Glasgow University at Unviersity Avenue.

Notes & Terms
Tickets are very limited and are available based on first come, first served. Tickets are not refundable. However, tickets can be sold on to others. It is your responsibility to be at the pick up point on time. Tickets will not be refunded if you miss the pick up point. Ticket transfers are not possible if you miss the tour for any reason. Please note that by joining a tour with International Students Tours in Scotland you are agreeing to our Terms and Conditions and Data Usage.
